On September 22, the 2026 National Energy Industry Seminar on Total Energy Industrial Lubricants, with the theme of "Breaking Through the Situation with the Trend", was held in Dunhuang. Xi'an Tiantai Electronics Co., Ltd. was invited to attend the conference. Deng Xiaochen, the company's technical director, gave a keynote speech on site, discussing the development history of Xi'an Tiantai, new energy thermal management products, liquid cooling technology applications, and the development direction of immersion cooling, and exchanging ideas with partners from the energy industry.
At the meeting, Mr. Deng first introduced the development and product layout of Xi'an Tiantai. Xi'an Tiantai was founded in 2009 and has long focused on the field of new energy thermal management. Currently, it has formed a product system including HPC cooling modules, charging host cooling modules, energy storage liquid cooling units, etc. The company has a CNAS thermal management laboratory, a 15000 square meter production and manufacturing workshop, and two new energy thermal management production lines. The application of products has gradually extended from early charging gun line cooling to power modules, energy storage, and more liquid thermal management scenarios.

In the sharing on that day, Mr. Deng exchanged views on the development of immersion cooling technology based on Xi'an Tiantai's practice in liquid cooling systems. Mr. Deng mentioned that in actual system design, immersion cooling oil cannot be judged solely based on one indicator of "heat dissipation speed". Insulation performance, viscosity, thermal stability, oxidation resistance, material compatibility, and performance changes after long-term operation need to be considered throughout the entire system. Especially when the equipment needs to work continuously for a long time, whether the coolant can maintain good compatibility with seals, metal materials, and electronic components will directly affect the reliability and maintenance costs in the later stage.
This has formed a good communication foundation with Total Energy's technological layout in submerged cooling media in recent years. According to Total Energy data, its DC COOLING BioLife series is designed for single-phase immersion cooling applications, emphasizing low viscosity, thermal stability, oxidation resistance, and metal compatibility, and adopts a bio based dielectric fluid route. For immersed systems, cooling medium is no longer an independent consumable, but increasingly appears as a component in the design of thermal management systems. Looking at cooling from the device end and cooling from the medium end, the focus is not exactly the same, but ultimately they all come back to one question: how to make heat more stable, safe, and efficient to be carried away.
During this exchange, Mr. Deng also talked about the cooperation ideas and future prospects between Xi'an Tiantai and Total Lubricants in related technical directions. For Xi'an Tiantai, the further development of liquid cooling systems is not just about improving the cooling capacity of a single cooling device, but also requires better matching between cooling modules, circulation systems, control logic, and liquid cooling media. There is room for further exploration in the adaptation of cooling media, system validation, and new liquid cooling applications between both parties, which is particularly important for the current new energy thermal management industry.
In the past, the market was more concerned about whether there was liquid cooling, but now it is starting to focus on whether the liquid cooling system can operate stably for a long time; In the past, equipment companies were more concerned about refrigeration capacity, but now they need to consider energy consumption, material compatibility, maintenance cycle, and full lifecycle costs simultaneously. After the industry truly enters the mature stage, the determining factor of product competitiveness is often not a single parameter, but whether the entire system can withstand long-term verification in real scenarios. The product changes of Xi'an Tiantai Electronics Co., Ltd. in recent years, from supercharging gun lines to charging hosts, to energy storage and higher heat flux density devices, also reflect the trajectory of changes in the thermal management industry. The problem faced by enterprises has gradually shifted from how a component can dissipate heat to how a system can manage heat more stably. The value of the Dunhuang trip is also here.
A 20 minute on-site sharing is not long, but it provides an opportunity for equipment companies, energy companies, and material companies to discuss technical issues face-to-face. More communication between different stages can potentially transform many previously solved problems into system collaboration issues. For Xi'an Tiantai, participating in the 2026 National Energy Industry Seminar on Total Energy Industrial Lubricants is not only a showcase of the company and its products, but also an in-depth exchange on the development of liquid cooling technology in the next stage.
As high-power charging, energy storage, and high-density devices continue to advance, the importance of thermal management will continue to increase. Xi'an Tiantai will continue to take root in this niche field, focusing more on product reliability, system adaptation, and practical applications, and working with industry chain partners to find cooling solutions that are more suitable for future energy equipment.
